compression sleeve

What is a compression sleeve ?

Compression sleeves are elasticized bandages that are often used to treat patients with lymphedmea. The sleeves are custom fit to your arm by a physical or occupational therapist and can either be used on their own or with a manual lymphatic drainage, also known as complex decongestive physiotherapy. Manual lymphatic drainage entails extremely gentle massage of the skin and the underlying lymphatic vessels by hand.
